Terms and Conditions
Effective: August 26, 2026
These Terms govern your access to cointacted.com and the Cointacted website, Social Terminal, customer accounts, software, documentation, licensing, downloads, and related services (“Services”). By using the Services or completing a purchase, you agree to these Terms.
Accounts and acceptable use
You are responsible for accurate account information, protecting your credentials and license keys, and activity under your account. You must not misuse the Services, interfere with security or availability, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malware, violate law or third-party rights, or use the Services to facilitate fraud or abuse.
Software and licenses
Purchasing software grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the applicable product for the license term, site limit, and plan shown at purchase. The software is licensed, not sold. You may not resell, sublicense, share license keys, circumvent activation controls, or redistribute paid packages except where an applicable open-source license expressly permits it. Product-specific open-source licenses continue to govern the code they cover.
License checks may use the site domain, product, version, activation count, and signed validation data. A lifetime license means the lifetime of the purchased product, not the lifetime of the buyer, and does not promise that every product or external dependency will operate indefinitely.
Orders, subscriptions, and taxes
Prices, billing interval, included sites, and renewal terms are shown before checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscription plans renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling renewal stops future renewal charges but does not normally end access before the current paid period expires. You are responsible for applicable taxes unless collected at checkout.
Refunds
Refund eligibility and the process for requesting a refund are described in our Refund Policy. Approved refunds may revoke the corresponding license and access to future downloads, updates, or support. Chargebacks or payment reversals may also suspend associated entitlements while investigated.
Updates, compatibility, and third parties
We may improve, change, deprecate, or discontinue features. Compatibility can depend on WordPress, PHP, browsers, themes, plugins, blockchain networks, wallets, payment providers, and other third-party services we do not control. Documentation and release notes describe current requirements where available.
User content and community features
You retain rights in content you submit. You grant us the permissions reasonably needed to host, display, process, and moderate that content for the Services. You must have the rights to submit it. We may remove content or restrict access where necessary to protect users, comply with law, or enforce these Terms.
Service availability and disclaimers
The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, investment outcomes, token value, or availability of third-party networks and services. Nothing in the Services is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cointacted will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profits, data, goodwill, or digital assets arising from the Services. Our aggregate liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you paid to Cointacted for the affected Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Rights that cannot lawfully be limited remain unaffected.
Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, fraud, security risk, unlawful activity, or non-payment. Provisions concerning licenses, payments, disclaimers, liability, and disputes survive where their nature requires.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as the Services evolve. Material changes will be posted with a revised effective date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. Questions may be submitted through the Cointacted contact form.
