Cointacted (“Cointacted,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides the Cointacted website, Social Terminal, software downloads, customer accounts, licensing, documentation, and support services. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use cointacted.com.

Who is responsible for your information

Cointacted is operated by MB Cointacted, a company based in Lithuania. MB Cointacted is the controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy. For privacy questions or to exercise your data-protection rights, email [email protected].

Information we collect

We collect information you provide, such as your name, email address, account details, contact-form messages, billing details, order information, license keys and activations, and support communications. We also collect technical information needed to operate and secure the service, including IP address, browser and device details, timestamps, requested pages, cookie identifiers, and security or error logs.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive transaction identifiers, payment status, billing details, and limited payment-method information needed to fulfill orders, manage subscriptions, prevent fraud, issue refunds, and maintain accounting records. We do not store full card numbers.

How we use information

We use information to provide and secure accounts; process purchases, renewals, cancellations, and refunds; issue and validate software licenses; deliver downloads and updates; respond to support requests; maintain and improve the service; prevent abuse and fraud; and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

Cookies and local storage

We use essential cookies and local storage for sign-in, security, session continuity, preferences, shopping and checkout, and licensed-product functionality. Optional analytics or marketing technologies, if enabled, are described and controlled through the site’s cookie controls where required.

Sharing and service providers

We share information only as needed with providers that help us operate the service, including payment processing, hosting, email delivery, security, backups, and customer support. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and security

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above, including legal, tax, accounting, security, dispute, and license-record requirements. We use administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and rights

You may review or update account information through your account, cancel eligible subscription renewals, and contact us to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection where applicable. Some records may be retained where required by law or necessary to protect the service and users.

International processing and children

Our providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to applicable safeguards. The service is not directed to children under the age required to consent to online services in their jurisdiction.

Google advertising and privacy choices

Google advertising on Cointacted is currently paused while our AdSense application is reviewed. The following describes the advertising technologies that may be used if advertising is enabled.

Third-party vendors, including Google, may use advertising cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to Cointacted or other websites. These cookies allow Google and its advertising partners to select and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted by your choices and applicable requirements. Advertising services may also process IP addresses, browser and device information, and information about ad interactions.

You can manage Google’s personalized advertising through Google My Ad Center. You can also review participating vendors’ choices at YourAdChoices. These controls do not necessarily turn off all advertising. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services and read Google’s privacy policy.

Before enabling advertising that requires consent, we will provide the applicable consent message and controls. Google’s advertising choices will use a Google-certified consent platform where required. Cointacted’s existing cookie controls manage the other optional services they describe; they do not replace Google’s certified advertising-consent message. Use the available privacy controls to review or change your choices, or contact us through the Cointacted contact form.

Community content and optional rewards

Posts, profiles and other contributions you choose to publish in public community areas may be visible to visitors and search engines. Private areas remain subject to their access rules. Do not publish information you intend to keep confidential.

Cointacted does not pay or award rewards for viewing, clicking or interacting with Google ads. Any Social Mining program must use its separately configured funding and eligible-contribution rules. Participating in the community does not require clicking ads, and an AdSense approval does not activate a reward or payout program.
