Troubleshoot Search
Diagnose missing results, sources, commands, permissions, and direct Search routes.
- No results: use a query above minimum length, confirm the source is enabled and available, and verify the current visitor may view the item.
- Source filter is missing: confirm its owning plugin and Pro capability, then refresh saved sources.
- Terminal command is absent: enable terminal integration and confirm Social Terminal is active.
- Private content appears: disable the source immediately and review its current-viewer permission adapter.
- Direct query URL breaks: confirm the canonical Search page, query parameter handling, and SnapWeb route payload are current.
- Header search behaves differently: verify it consumes the same result contract and transfers Enter to the full Search route.
- External index is stale: bypass or rebuild it; local WordPress search must remain available.
