If the provider is absent from community providers, confirm Social Terminal loads before this adapter and BuddyPress or BuddyBoss is active. If group or activity commands report an unavailable component, enable that component in the community platform; the adapter intentionally does not emulate it.
Version 1.0.1 or newer uses BuddyPress's current member-directory query contract and supports clean modern BuddyPress installations without requiring legacy member metadata.
An empty result can be correct when the current viewer cannot see a member or group. Compare the same viewer's native Members, Groups, and Activity screens. After changing component or permalink settings, clear page/object caches and retry. Never solve a visibility mismatch by querying BuddyPress tables directly.
