Search 0.1.90 / Configuration
Search sources and permissions
Enable discoverable content sources without exposing private items.
Community providers
Search Pro includes a provider-neutral Community source. It discovers active Social Terminal community adapters—such as BuddyPress/BuddyBoss, PeepSo, and SureDash—and asks each adapter for members and spaces visible to the current viewer. Search does not query those platforms' tables itself. Each adapter retains its native blocking, membership, protected-content, and signed-in rules, and unavailable providers contribute no results.
Free sources are public WordPress posts and pages. Pro can add supported public authors, Docs, commerce products, FluentCommunity content, and official add-on content when the owning software and capability are active.
Open Cointacted → Search and enable only sources visitors should discover. Every request rechecks source availability and current-viewer visibility. Enabling a source never makes a draft, private item, restricted community object, or hidden product public.
Test one public and one private item for every source as a guest, member, and administrator. Disable the source and confirm both the interface and search sources stop advertising it.
Normalized results contain public title, excerpt, URL, source ID, label, and optional public image—never passwords, secrets, private messages, or inaccessible content.
