PeepSo 1.3.1 / Guides

Gamification profile tabs

Publish Cointacted rewards in native PeepSo member profiles.

Reward-history content links are resolved at view time through PeepSo's current activity-page configuration. Changing the PeepSo activity page, permalink structure, or theme therefore does not leave old routes in the reward ledger.

With the Cointacted PeepSo adapter's Pro entitlement and Gamification Pro active, native posts, comments, and reactions can drive ordinary Gamification rules. Reward history stores PeepSo's module and object identity, not a Gecko or Blocks theme route. When history is viewed, the adapter runs PeepSo's exact-item query for the current member, including privacy clauses registered by active PeepSo add-ons, and then resolves the current permalink. Deleted or inaccessible conversations are not exposed through old saved URLs.

Gamification Pro can publish balances, reward history, achievements, ranks, quests, and streaks in PeepSo profiles. Each destination is registered through PeepSo's native profile navigation and segment hooks, so the profile header, access checks, and URL ownership remain with PeepSo. This surface requires both an active Gamification Pro entitlement and an active Cointacted PeepSo Pro entitlement; it does not require a paid PeepSo vendor plan.

  1. Activate Gamification, Gamification Pro, and PeepSo with both Pro entitlements connected.
  2. Open Cointacted → Gamification → Display.
  3. Enable member profile tabs, choose the audience, then select and order the sections.
  4. Choose separate tabs or one composed Rewards tab.

The adapter registers nothing when Gamification Pro is unavailable or the profile surface is disabled. Profile-owner opt-out and visitor visibility are enforced before the navigation item or its content is published.

PeepSo may build profile navigation with either an explicit member identifier or its active profile-shortcode context. The adapter supports both native entry points, so the same tabs appear in the full profile, user widgets, and user-bar navigation without guessing the member from the URL.

Every published destination uses a distinct icon from PeepSo's bundled native icon set. Rewards, balances, achievements, ranks, quests, and streaks therefore remain identifiable in both the profile navigation and account menu without loading a separate icon library.

The adapter supports both PeepSo Blocks and Gecko presentation shells. Gamification does not add a second profile card around its content; it consumes PeepSo's semantic surface, text, divider, and accent variables so light and dark palettes remain native. Reward tables respond to the real profile-column width, converting to labeled cards when Gecko sidebars narrow the center column even on a desktop viewport.
