Built-in terminal command reference

Built-in commands run inside the Social Terminal host. The help catalog remains the authoritative live list because it reflects the current visitor, enabled features, and installed add-ons.

Discover and control the session

• welcome replays the configured welcome sequence.
• help opens the available command catalog.
• help COMMAND opens one command's syntax, examples, access, and owner.
• help search TERM searches the current catalog.
• clear or cls clears the visible browser transcript without deleting data owned by an add-on.
• about or info describes the Terminal runtime.

Current site, visitor, and browser

• me or whoami shows the current WordPress identity when signed in.
• site or hostname shows the site name, tagline, and URL.
• domain or dns shows the current site domain.
• browser or ua shows the browser user-agent string.
• now or date shows the browser's current date and time.
• lastlogin shows the signed-in user's recorded last-login value when available.

Availability and output remain subject to the command registry. Administrators may also receive the restricted admin diagnostic command.

Local utilities

• echo TEXT prints the supplied text locally.
• random, random MAX, or random MIN MAX generates an integer in the requested inclusive range.
• dice, dice d20, or dice 3d6 rolls up to ten dice.

Additional network utilities shown in the live catalog may depend on site settings or add-ons. Do not assume a command is public merely because its name is known; visibility and dispatch permission are checked for the current actor.
