PeepSo 1.2.2 / Operations

PeepSo privacy

Understand how PeepSo privacy, blocking, and online visibility are preserved.

Privacy and permissions

Member queries use PeepSoUserSearch, which applies PeepSo profile privacy, member-only visibility, blocking, hidden-directory preferences, and banned or unvalidated account exclusions. Online results also honor the member's hide-online-status setting.

Activity is obtained through PeepSo's activity query so its stream clauses and installed module filters remain active. Group discovery uses the PeepSo Groups service, which owns privacy and membership filtering. The adapter rejects cross-user execution and never exposes email addresses, private profile fields, messages, authentication data, or raw table rows.

Before launch, compare results as an administrator, an ordinary member, a blocked member pair, and a signed-out visitor.
