Licenses, entitlements, and signed updates

Manual-license and connected-account access are independent and may coexist. Disconnecting an account removes the local connected credential and cached connected access; it does not delete purchases, plugin data, or an independently activated key.

Runtime Pro checks use signed locally cached entitlement data. Frontend page loads do not contact the licensing authority on every request. If access expires or cannot be verified, Pro operations fail closed without deleting settings or customer data.

Before updating, verify product, version, folder, byte size, SHA-256 digest, dependency state, and activation state. Signed releases are immutable: changed package bytes require a new version.

The updater replaces only the expected plugin and restores its prior activation state. Read the precise authority, entitlement, signature, package, or dependency error instead of retrying blindly.
